i am sarannya sivasankaran, born on 15th june 1997, and currently residing in vellore, tamil nadu. i completed my master’s in commerce from mpmmsn trusts college, shoranur, and my bachelor’s in commerce from nss college, ottapalam. after post-graduation, i worked as an assistant professor in various colleges across kerala and tamil nadu for over 3.5 years. at present, i am pursuing my ph.d. in commerce at vellore institute of technology to further advance my academic and research career. i am deeply passionate about research, teaching, and knowledge-building, and i aspire to build a career that blends both. i am also open to global opportunities and have plans to pursue postdoctoral research in the future. i belong to a close-knit and supportive family that values education, culture, and progressive thinking while cherishing traditions. being a single parent’s daughter, i share a strong bond with my mother and wish to support her throughout life. on a personal note, i would describe myself as caring, understanding, and optimistic, with a balanced outlook that respects both modern values and traditions. in my leisure time, i enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies, traveling, and exploring new ideas in research and technology.
