i\\'m pratik ravindranath and am working as a software consultant in caterpillar, bangalore. i\\'m a b.tech graduate in information technology. i grew up in a middle class, nuclear family in shoranur(where my father\\'s family is settled) and ottapalam (where my mother\\'s family is based in). my mother and father are separated(not divorced) and i live with my mother. my mother shuttles between my home town(ottappalam), where we have our own house, and bangalore, where i work. rarely i talk to my father, but i\\'m still in good terms with him.
